ETIQUETTE POLICY
Craft Actors Studio provides a safe, collaborative and respectful environment for actors to work. We accept artists from all backgrounds and levels to join us in our community to learn and share their creativity and talent.
There is an expectation of those who join our studio to be respectful of other students and our instructors. This requires:
-
showing up to class on time
-
notifying the instructor of absences and late arrivals
-
committing to the work in class and (if applicable) to their scene partner(s)
-
not interrupting/distracting others work during class. This may include (but not limited to)
-
texting, taking calls, or browsing on your phone while during class
-
getting up to leave during another student’s work, or while the instructor is speaking
-
chatting with others during another student’s work, or while the instructor is speaking
-
eating during class while not on break
-
We have a zero-tolerance policy towards discrimination, harassment and prejudice.
If a student is in violation of any of the above, the instructor reserves the right to remove the student from class. Should a student be removed under such circumstances, they are not entitled to a reimbursement or class credit.
CLASS CONFLICTS AND RESCHEDULING
Because all of our instructors are professional working actors, classes may be cancelled if an instructor is called to set.
Cancelled classes will be rescheduled to a future date and time that suits the majority of the students in the class. Should a student have to miss a class that is rescheduled by the instructor, the class will be refunded to the student as a pro-rated amount of the fee paid for the full course.
